DONATE

Hayswood Theatre was formed in 1969 by the Women's Literary Club to bring people to Corydon, to support the local economy and to promote cultural growth. The First State Capitol Building in the town square was the first performance space used by the Theatre beginning with performances in 1970, performing reenactments of actual trials that occurred there in the 1820's. Performances followed at the Harrison Grange Hall where the "Hayswood Players" started performing published plays. The Theatre, through the work of its dedicated Board of Directors and support from the local businesses and a loyal audience, has continued to annually present full seasons of plays.

As a non-profit, your donation helps keep theatre alive and thriving in the community! Your donation helps to maintain the theatre, produce shows, upgrade equipment, hold workshops, and purchase items that help us put on great productions for our area! Hayswood is dedicated to providing cultural education, entertainment and overall enrichment of the community! Please consider donating to our organization. We deeply appreciate your support!
